Hello all,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
I have another post today for the Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge - Bear with Me. Who doesn't need a cute birthday bear greeting? I coloured the image using a combination of Copics and Tria markers. I like doing the fine details with the old style Tria markers because they have a fine point. I had the ribbon in my scraps, and the paper is from DCWV.
I am also submitting this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge blog #580 - I spy something with a "B". (bear, balloon, box)
Dream Valley Challenges - All occasions
Mojo Monday - sketch 541.
I wish everyone a good day. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Halloween 2019
Hello everyone,
I think this is the first Halloween card that I have ever made, but I couldn't resist this Bugaboo image. I saw the "Catch the bug" sketch challenge #715, and wanted to participate. I like the sketch challenge because that's sometimes the hardest part for me to figure out. I also like that it is a simple sketch, and what a great way to use my DCWV rock star paper! I wish you all a happy Halloween.

I'm back
Hi everyone,
I have been away from the blog, but not away from card making and crafting in general. I have continued to work on lots of things, but I got frustrated with my computer and therefore stopped posting.
I was excited to see this challenge from Bugaboo because I had a little boys birthday coming up and he loves dinosaurs. I have to say I don't think I have any dinosaur stamps, so I was super relieved to see I had a Bugaboo image that is just perfect, and then a perfect sketch challenge to make it all work. http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/stella-says-sketch-challenge-704.html
The paper is from DCWV.
I hope he likes it. Thanks for stopping by!

Fisherman birthday
Hi Everyone,
So again, it's been awhile since my last post, but not for lack of creating. I have been working on diaper cake orders. I haven't made one in a very long time, and just received 5 orders.
Anyways, this card is for a very special young man who loves to go fishing with his Grandpa. I purchased this image from Bugaboo stamps, and it is just perfect. I coloured it with mostly Copics, but I have Tria markers in the mix. I also coloured around the edge of the die cut to give it a bit of a frame. The sketch is also from the Bugaboo challenge #410. I am also joining the following challenges:
My time to craft: Summertime
Die Cuttin Divas: Birthday # 272
SweetStamps: Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy 4th Birthday
Hi there,
I managed to squeeze in another card this month. I had hoped to join more challenges and do more cards this year, but I have fallen way behind. I was happy to see the challenge at Meljen's for a birthday card, because it reminded me of this great image for my friends' son's birthday. I had the paper from DCWV already, so I colored it to match. I also used pop dots to raise the image.
My card is being submitted to these challenges:

Wedding card 2013
I haven't been doing a ton of crafting this year, but I have still made cards for special occasions for my friends and family. This card is one of the most special ones I have made this year. My cousin got married to a wonderful woman.
The idea for this card actually came from their 'save the date' card and their invitation. They had a branch with a tiny bird on the save the date card, and a chandelier on the invitation. The paper I used is DCWV, and I found this spellbinders die after a long search. The lovebirds stamp was a little large for the tree, so I used Shrink-a-dinks to make it an appropriate size. I haven't used Shrinks since I was a kid, and forgot how they work, so there is a slight bend in the finished product. I am still very pleased with the final result, and so was the bride and groom. :)

On vacation

Hello everyone,
It's been longer than I hoped before posting again. I have been working a little more this summer, so I hope to post more cards soon. Although not tropical, I thought this was a good reminder of our Alaskan cruise earlier this year. It's also a new stamp that I had been anxious to play with. The stamp is from Stampscapes and is very long, so I just chose one end of it. The paper is also new to me and from DCWV.
I am entering this into just a few challenges:
Scrap-Creations: Vacation
Chocolate, Coffee, and Cards: Life's a beach
C.R.A.F.T. Challenges: Inspiration picture
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Beach/Nautical
Thanks for stopping by.

Elephants never forget
Hi everyone,
Can you believe I am posting again already? Unfortunately, this card is very late. This is for my niece, who's birthday was on Friday and it is still sitting beside me. I have to get this in the post! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday #242. I apologize to the digi artist that created this adorable elephant. I neglected to record who it was from. The ribbon was given to me by a friend and the die cut is from Spellbinders. The white paper is actually designer gift wrap that I bought at Indigo, and the purple paper is DCWV, pocket full of posies.
Other challenges that I am submitting to are:
Die Cuttin Divas - Banners, Buttons and/or birthdays
Southern Girls Challenge #45 - Diecuts
Totally PaperCrafts #118 - Animals
Scrap Creations - Bingo (Flower, Die cut, Digi Image)
Sweet Stamps #66 - Anything Goes
I hope everyone has a great week, and hopefully I will be posting again soon. Thanks for stopping by.

I love Snoopy
Hi Everyone,
This is my season of having to make many male cards, and like alot of you out there, I find it's not an easy task. I had to search my stash, and decided on this stamp. I love Snoopy, and I bought this stamp mostly for me, but there is so much you can do with him. I have used him before for male cards. I didn't use any paticular sketch, and kept it relatively simple. The papers are from DCWV and I used one of the ironworks spellbinders that my DH bought me.
I would like to submit this into the following challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges #133 - black cardstock
Crafts 4 eternity #68 - something new (spellbinder is new)
Crafty Catz #129 - stripes or checks
DSYU #68 - stripes
PaperPlay challenges #16 - animal antics
Whimsy Stamps #35 - punches or dies
Pile it on #17 - sparkle and shine
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week.

Bella's birthday
Hi everyone,I have been so busy recently that I have not had a lot of time to create. I did join a copic coloring class a few weeks ago and I do hope to practice the techniques I learned soon. This card is for one of my closest friends for her birthday. I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, although I am to late to enter my creation. The stamp is from Stamping Bella. I used mostly Tria markers to color the image. The polka-dot paper is from Paper Pizzaz and the background is DCWV. The alphabet punchouts are from Colorbok. I am also going to submit this into the anything goes challenges at Party Time Tuesdays, Make it Monday, The ABC Challenge, Sew Many Cards, and Crafts 4 eternity. Also, entering it into the birthday challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.

I used the sketch from iheart2stamp sketch challenge. I am also submitting this into the following challenges:

More butterflies...

Hi everyone,
I was busy on the weekend trying to get a bit ahead of the game, but I am finding I am already behind again. But what can you do when it's playoff time and your home team is playing. It looks like it's going to be a long night. I had made this butterfly a long time ago and then had never done anything with it, so it was handy when I have so many cards to make right now. Of course, I have used my favorite go to paper DCWV. The sketch is from Cute Card Thursday. I am also submitting this into Flutterby Wednesday challenge # 157, allsorts challenge blog week 105 "things with wings", the Creative Card Crew "for a diva", and Truly Scrumptious "Summer sparkle" Wow, Canucks just scored with 19 seconds left to go in the third period. whoo hoo! Have a nice night everyone, and thanks for stopping by. Vancouver Canucks Win!

Flutter by Wednesday Challenge
Hi Everyone,This is only my second challenge ever and the first work I have done in quite a while. My friend bought me a whole set of quilling papers and tools, so I thought I would give it a try. I have done some quilling before, but as you can see, I still need some practice. The paper I used is from DCWV. It was so nice to be in my craft room again. I hope it can continue, and I can try some more challenges.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Bella birthday

Things have been busy. I 've had very little time to do much crafting at all, but I was able to sneak in a few cards I would like to share before I dive into my Christmas cards (I can't wait to get those started). This card was sent to my friend in September. Pretty basic design using Birthday bella stamp, DCWV paper, and some gold ribbon. I colored Bella with Tria markers and cut the image using Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to have more to show you soon. PS, Please show your respect for our veterans this Rememberence Day. Cheers, Tanya R.

Good morning,
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I can't wait to go to the zoo tomorrow with my niece. I just hope the weather is good. I duplicated this card from a magazine. It caught my eye and I just had to try it. Mine is not as embellished as the one in the mag, but I did use the same paper. I also had to make my own candle with paper because I did not have a birthday candle in the house. I may have made it a little tall. I used flowersoft for the icing, and all the paper used is from DCWV. The sentiment is a sticker from Papercraft Inspirations magazine. I hope you like it, it was alot of fun to make and give. Thanks for stopping by. Tanya R.
