Hi Everyone,
I am back with a silver anniversary card. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the "love" heart is silver foil paper from a set of cards that were on special at Michaels. I used an embossing folder from Taylored Expressions called sheet music on the pink cardstock. The music paper is from Authentique the Irresistible Collection. I cut the hearts using a Sizzix die and hand cut the love heart. The silver anniversary piece is Vellum, but I'm afraid I don't remember from where. This is only my second anniversary card, and my first one I found on Google when I was trying to get ideas for this one. I am hoping to make a similar one to this with the pieces that didn't quite work on this one. It would be nice to have one in my pre-made stash, but with Christmas time fast approaching that may have to wait.
The challenges I am joining are the following:
Dream Valley Challenges - recipe. My recipe is patterned paper, pink, and faux stitching.
Papertake Weekly Challenges - technique. Embossing folder.
Sweet Stamps - anything goes.
Crafty Girls Creations - anything goes.
Congratulations to our friends on their 25th.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a good one!

Valentine treats
Hi everyone,
Well, it's been a slow start to 2015 in the way of crafting. This is my first project of the year. I purchased this milk carton die from Sizzix for a totally different project, but sadly, never got around to it, so I am glad to turn it into a treat box for Valentine's day. I am going to take these three to work for my co-workers.
Thanks for stopping by.

Simple Flower
Hi everyone,
I am showing off another birthday card I made for my Mother-in-law. I wanted to go with a simpler look with this card. Plus, I was excited to use my new punch from EK Success. The leaves are from Sizzix, and the label is from Spellbinder. The paper is DCWV and a few scraps that I had from other cards made. I spent some time cleaning up recently and it's amazing how much scrap paper you collect.
I am submitting this into the following challenges:
Crafty Calendar Challenge - spring cleaning
Crafty Ribbons challenge - challenge 15
Crazy 4 challenges - green
|Cute card Thursday - birthday
Little Darlings Challenges - spring colors
One Crazy Stamper - birthday

Papertake Weekly - for the girls
Poodle Parlour - anything goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon - #44 Spring
Shelley's Thrilling Thursday - Show us what ya got

Flutterby Wednesday Challenge #144

Hi everyone,
Here is my submission for the flutterby wednesday challenge. I missed last weeks challenge, so I was happy to have a second chance of an open challenge. I was just in the United States and found another great butterfly punch to use on this card. The netting I got from a holiday plant basket, which just goes to show that you can find design elements anywhere. The pink flowers are a die cut from Sizzix and the DP is AC Patterned Paper from the everyday collection. I have another busy week at work ahead of me, so I may not have alot of time in my craft room. I hope everyone has a great week. Thanks for stopping by.

More Christmas cause ...

Hi everyone,
Here is another Christmas card, only because I still have not found any time to work in my craft room. The one and only card I have made this year, I forgot to take a picture of. :s I wasn't even able to find time to make my hubby a valentine's day card. :(
For this card, I used Sizzix embossing folder and die-cut, Martha Stewart punch, Tria markers, and some handmade papers. I used Flock on his hat and the stockings.
Hopefully, I will get more time to craft soon. Until then, thanks for your patience.
Cheers, Tanya R.

My Mother's birthday

Hi,
I was away on holidays recently and missed my Mother's birthday, so I gave this to her when we returned. It took me awhile to punch all the holes in the butterfly images and then to stencil it, but I like how it turned out. I found the stencil in Edmonton along time ago and had never used it before. The die-cuts from Sizzix were cut on glitter paper, although it is hard to see on this picture. The papers I used were freebies from papercrafts inspiration (I think). I haven't been working in my craft room too much, but I hope I will have something to show you soon. Thanks for stopping by. Tanya R.
