Flutter by Wednesday Challenge

Hi Everyone,
This is only my second challenge ever and the first work I have done in quite a while. My friend bought me a whole set of quilling papers and tools, so I thought I would give it a try. I have done some quilling before, but as you can see, I still need some practice. The paper I used is from DCWV. It was so nice to be in my craft room again. I hope it can continue, and I can try some more challenges.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

More Christmas cause ...

Hi everyone,
Here is another Christmas card, only because I still have not found any time to work in my craft room. The one and only card I have made this year, I forgot to take a picture of. :s I wasn't even able to find time to make my hubby a valentine's day card. :(
For this card, I used Sizzix embossing folder and die-cut, Martha Stewart punch, Tria markers, and some handmade papers. I used Flock on his hat and the stockings.
Hopefully, I will get more time to craft soon. Until then, thanks for your patience.
Cheers, Tanya R.

Another Christmas card

Here is another of my Christmas card designs for 2010. I dry embossed some silver sheer paper for the background. I like how it turned out. The cardstock is from DCWV. Thanks for stopping by. Tanya R.

Busy, busy, busy

I feel awful that I haven't been posting for awhile. Life just got so busy, I had very little time to myself. The only cards I have to show are for Christmas, even though I know everyone is over Christmas and onto Valentine's day. I hope you will still enjoy them.
This card was made using Little Loud Stamps. The punch is from eksuccess and is actually a flower underneath the snowflake, but the swirls reminded me of a snow drift. There is a little bit of glitter on the snow, but it doesn't show very well.
Enjoy your evening and thanks for stopping by. Tanya.

Bella birthday

Things have been busy. I 've had very little time to do much crafting at all, but I was able to sneak in a few cards I would like to share before I dive into my Christmas cards (I can't wait to get those started). This card was sent to my friend in September. Pretty basic design using Birthday bella stamp, DCWV paper, and some gold ribbon. I colored Bella with Tria markers and cut the image using Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to have more to show you soon. PS, Please show your respect for our veterans this Rememberence Day. Cheers, Tanya R.

My Mother's birthday

Hi,
I was away on holidays recently and missed my Mother's birthday, so I gave this to her when we returned. It took me awhile to punch all the holes in the butterfly images and then to stencil it, but I like how it turned out. I found the stencil in Edmonton along time ago and had never used it before. The die-cuts from Sizzix were cut on glitter paper, although it is hard to see on this picture. The papers I used were freebies from papercrafts inspiration (I think). I haven't been working in my craft room too much, but I hope I will have something to show you soon. Thanks for stopping by. Tanya R.

Another High Hopes Blog Hop

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been away, but August is always a busy month for me. I do have some images I would like to share with you soon, but for right now I want to share the new release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I love their images and look forward to the blog hop on September 1st. Hope you can all join in for the fun. Cheers, Tanya R.
