While I was working on the Sketch challenge for Catch the bug, I thought I would work on my first Christmas card of the year. This reindeer looks alot like me when thinking about Christmas gifts. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Halloween 2019
Hello everyone,
I think this is the first Halloween card that I have ever made, but I couldn't resist this Bugaboo image. I saw the "Catch the bug" sketch challenge #715, and wanted to participate. I like the sketch challenge because that's sometimes the hardest part for me to figure out. I also like that it is a simple sketch, and what a great way to use my DCWV rock star paper! I wish you all a happy Halloween.

Grand Niece
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share this card I made to welcome our Grand Niece. I used a Bugaboo Digi stamp and followed their sketch challenge here http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2019/06/stella-says-sketch-challenge-711.html. I coloured the image with alcohol markers, and punched the heart border with a Martha Stewart punch. I think this image is so cute, and I have more cards with this cute elephant in the works. Thanks for stopping by.

Another card...
I saw the next sketch challenge and wanted to play along again at Bugaboo, and I thought these two images would be very cute together. The garden background is a Bugaboo image, and the hopping flower is from Your next stamp. Another favorite of mine. I had some trouble coloring the flower. It started out just yellow, and ended up being more pink to go with the paper. Sorry, I don't remember where the flower paper came from, but the striped paper is DCWV. I am entering this in the Bugaboo sketch challenge #705, and Your Next Stamp Friday Fun challenge #109.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

I'm back
Hi everyone,
I have been away from the blog, but not away from card making and crafting in general. I have continued to work on lots of things, but I got frustrated with my computer and therefore stopped posting.
I was excited to see this challenge from Bugaboo because I had a little boys birthday coming up and he loves dinosaurs. I have to say I don't think I have any dinosaur stamps, so I was super relieved to see I had a Bugaboo image that is just perfect, and then a perfect sketch challenge to make it all work. http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/stella-says-sketch-challenge-704.html
The paper is from DCWV.
I hope he likes it. Thanks for stopping by!

A whole year has gone by...
I can't believe a whole year has gone by since I last posted. This is going to be a quick post, as I am still working on more cards today. Last summer I got a lot of requests for diaper gift cakes. The above pictures are just a few of the ones I did. I have still been working on cards, but my computer crashed and I had to buy a new one. I have to say I am not of fan of this new computer and of course had to reload a ton of things, etc. I am sure a few of you know the pain of a new computer and if you are not tech savvy, it's a bit overwhelming. I have been staying off my computer a lot since the change, and resorting to using my phone for a lot of things. I hope to post more soon, and show more of my cards from the last year. Cheers to all and thanks for stopping by!

Riley off to Vegas
Hi everyone,
I wanted to join in the fun again with another card I made using Riley and Co.'s Riley and Sophie in Las Vegas. The classic car is from Local King Rubber stamps from right here in North Vancouver. This card is for someone who would love to be in Vegas every year for his birthday, and I can imagine him driving down the strip in this classic car. I am joining the following challenges:
Pile it on - it moves me #111
Daring Cardmakers - on your travels
Lil Patch of Crafty friends - #36 Anything goes
Love to scrap challenge - #80 Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by!
