Hi everyone,
This card idea is straight from a Jessie Hurley class I took at Making Memories. We used this stamp in the class, but with a different color combo. I thought for a St Patrick's day birthday for someone that loves pink, this would be perfect. The butterflies were punched out of glitter paper and popped up. The tree and poem stamp is heat embossed with pink, two shades of green, and copper embossing powders.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Your next stamp #34 - colour challenge.
A Gem of a challenge # 164- spring.
Fussy & Fancy Friday #159 - things with wings.
Cute Card Thursday # 416 - Lace or Ribbon
Pile it on #103 - Green & two other colours
Starinmypocket - include embossing
Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Valentine's treat bag
Hi everyone,
Again I have been slacking on my blog and I am not proud of that. I did do a lot of Christmas cards, but never got around to posting them as work has been very busy. Already we are into February and Valentine's day. I don't usually do much for Valentine's day, but I had this gift idea and had to try it. I think it's a great idea for someone that loves to relax in the bathtub with a couple of candles. And who doesn't like a little treat while your in there. BTW, the little jar is bath confetti. The cupcake stamp is from Michael's and is embossed with pink, red, and gold powders.
Blog challenges that I am entering with this project:
The Friday Mashup #242 - We have heart.
Crafting for all seasons challenge - love is in the air
Crafty Calendar Challenge - love is in the air
Cute Card Thursday - Sweet Valentine
Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a Happy Valentine's day.

Pizza Birthday 2015
Hi everyone,
This card is for my nephew. I found this image in my digi's from Dustin Pike, and thought it would be great for a man's card, plus it was pre-coloured which worked well with the fall colours challenge. I thought the Pizza maker looked a little confused, so I added a message on the inside "Cake?" as if he didn't realize it was suppose to be a birthday cake. Besides, some of us prefer pizza anyway. My submission for challenges are:
Southern Girls Challenge: Let's Celebrate
The Paper Shelter: Challenge 223: For the Man in your Life
Craft your passion challenge 283: Anything goes
My time to Craft: challenge 306 Autumnal colours
SweetStamps: October Anything Goes
Crafting with friends: Challenge #8 Anything goes
That's it for me tonight. I hope to be back with some Christmas cards shortly, and maybe more birthday cards. Thanks for stopping by.

Silver Anniversary 2015
Hi Everyone,
I am back with a silver anniversary card. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the "love" heart is silver foil paper from a set of cards that were on special at Michaels. I used an embossing folder from Taylored Expressions called sheet music on the pink cardstock. The music paper is from Authentique the Irresistible Collection. I cut the hearts using a Sizzix die and hand cut the love heart. The silver anniversary piece is Vellum, but I'm afraid I don't remember from where. This is only my second anniversary card, and my first one I found on Google when I was trying to get ideas for this one. I am hoping to make a similar one to this with the pieces that didn't quite work on this one. It would be nice to have one in my pre-made stash, but with Christmas time fast approaching that may have to wait.
The challenges I am joining are the following:
Dream Valley Challenges - recipe. My recipe is patterned paper, pink, and faux stitching.
Papertake Weekly Challenges - technique. Embossing folder.
Sweet Stamps - anything goes.
Crafty Girls Creations - anything goes.
Congratulations to our friends on their 25th.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a good one!

Embossed birthday
We have been enjoying a pretty hot summer here, so it's been a little hard to hang out in my small craft room without air conditioning, but I took a class a few weeks ago which I thought would make a perfect birthday card for some friends and family. I also wanted to practice the technique. This is a double embossed card I learned from Jessie Hurley. The embossing folder of the butterflies is a Darice folder and the dots, I believe, is a Cuttlebug. I used Memento ink to color the background and butterflies.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Friday Mashup! - Challenge #222
Seize the birthday - Anything that flies
Fussy and Fancy Friday - Challenge #146 Birthdays
Simply Create Too - Challenge #92 Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

YNS bouncy flower 2015
Hello Everyone,
It's been awhile since I have posted but I have been working on a few things. I haven't posted until now because I thought my computer was broken. Luckily, I have found it was a very simple fix and I did not lose everything. As you can imagine, I quickly backed up everything on my external hard drive and gave a great sigh of relief since I had just made some digital purchases that hadn't been saved yet.
I made this project when I saw the YNS challenge #18. I could not figure out what I wanted to do for my friend's daughter's birthday, so I used this stamp named "Daisy". I hope she likes it. I used some regular markers from Martha Stewart and a tria marker for the edging. I also used 3d crystal lacquer on the eyes to give them some shine and depth.
I hope to be back soon with more of the projects that I am working on.
Thanks for taking a peek.

Elegant birthday
Hi everyone,
I wanted to post a card I made for my very special Mother-in-law a few weeks ago. This is a brand new die that I found from Creative Expressions that I have been wanting to use, and am very happy with how it turned out.
Happy Easter everyone and thanks for stopping by!
