Welcome Paris!

This card was made for my friend's new arrival, Paris. The teddies stomach is in the shape of a heart and covered in white fun flock to give it a soft touch. I colored the bear with Tria markers to give it more depth. Thanks for dropping by. Tanya.

Popcorn Bear Tags

I got a wonderful package of popcorn bear chipboard tags from Simply Cards & papercraft magazine and so I have been creating these great cards with them. The first one is for my Mother-in-law for Mother's day. I found that this paper from K&Company went really well with the daisies in the background of the tag.

And this card was made for my Mother on Mother's day.

This card was for my friend on her retirement. This was a perfect tag because she is an avid gardener. The paper I chose is DCWV. I am sure that you will see more of these tags in my future designs cause they are just so darn cute.

Birthday boys

I finally have a moment to catch up on some posts. I have been noticing a pattern of posting about once a month (I wish it was more). These pics are actually from April birthdays that all fall within a week of each other.

I made this card for my husband's birthday. I used DCWV papers and die-cuts for the hearts and "happy birthday".

This one was made for my father. The tree is an embossing folder from crafts too. I used chalks to color it and heat embossed the "hello" with burgundy powder.

I made this card for my brother's birthday. The bee stamps used are from Local King rubber stamps. I stamped "happy" twice and then cut out the yellow stripes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Some catching up...

I made this card based on the design from my mother-in-law's birthday card. I used the same paper and used a cuttlebug folder on top. The butterfly stamps are from studio G. I was very pleased to give this to my good friend for helping us again this year. I would like to wish all the mother's out there a very Happy Mother's day including my two very special mothers. I will post those cards soon.

Birthday boy

This is a card I made for my good friend's little boy. I don't get to seem them very often since they are in another province but I always like to make sure they know we are thinking about them on their special days. The stamp is a digital from the Greeting Farm (whom I love) and the papers came from DCWV (another one of my favs). I bought the brads at Michaels. Thanks for watching.

I made this card for my mother-in-law's birthday. I love these color combinations. The butterfly paper came from K & company designer stack and the flower was made using Stampin up's die cut folder. This was my first time using the die cut and I am very impressed with how it came out. I like that it cuts and embosses in one complete step. I just sanded it and colored the edge.
