Color Hues Green & Purple Thank you card

 Hello again,

I want to share a second card I made this long weekend. This one was inspired by the color hues challenge #133 using Lime Green and Purple. I decided to make a Thank you card for the TGIF challenge #577. The DSP is from an old stack from K & Company. The flower is from a 3D embossing folder from Memory Box called Breezy Bouquet that includes a die cut for the center flower. I'm afraid my picture doesn't show the colors very vibrantly, but I like how the card came out in the end.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wedding Day May 2026

 Hi everyone,

It's the Victoria Day long weekend here, so I managed to get in some good crafting time.

I made a cute wedding card for the Tic Tac Toe challenge #992.  I went down the left side of the board with Wedding, Floral, and Pink. I also used the sketch from Try a sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) #695 for inspiration and Double Trouble challenge #216, with optional wheel challenge using the car.

For this card, I used Dreamerland Crafts rubber stamp, Wedding Nuptials. I colored the image with alcohol markers. I used Echo Park Paper Co. Wedding DSP and added some pink pearls.

Freshly Made sketch 734 - Baby boy

 Hi all,

I made some time this weekend to play in my craft room. I didn't have a specific plan so I looked at some challenges to play with. I found the Freshly Made Sketch # 734. I am supposed to be working on a diaper cake now, so I was hoping a baby card would inspire me to work on my order, but alas, I'm still not working on it. Here is my entry:

I hope everyone had a delightful weekend.

Cheers!

Coral & Green challenge for Mother's day

 Hello everyone,

I have made a few different cards lately, but I have not posted any of them. My family has been my priority lately.  I wanted to join a challenge to keep my momentum going when I am home, so I chose to work on the Color Hues challenge # 131 - Coral & Green.  My coral looks more orange in the picture, but I hope it will do. I made a CAS Mother's day card. The flower and frame die I used is from Spellbinders.

I hope to post the other cards I have been working on soon. Stay tuned and have a great day.

#FMS726

 Good day everyone,

I had some time to finish a card finally.  I worked on three different ones yesterday. This one is for a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches # 726.  I picked up a few new embossing folders from Spellbinders recently and thought I would give them a test run. These are the first 3D ones I've played with in my machine. It took a bit to figure out the sandwich that works for my machine.  I think with a tiny bit more time, I can master it. The "for you" part didn't come out as defined as I would like but that could be how it is. I look forward to keep playing with it.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  Have a great day!

Green, Red, and Turquoise

 Good evening everyone,

I was working on Christmas cards, but I have a few upcoming birthdays, so I switched my focus for a few hours. I was fortunate enough to come across some great card challenges for inspiration. I started with the color challenge from TGIF challenges.  Number 554 is to use Real Red, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green. I knew I had paper somewhere that could match these colors but I had no idea it would fit so well with the birthday theme I needed.

My sketch inspiration came from Freshly Made Sketch #715.  I am also submitting this to the Just Add Ink Challenge #775 which is Celebration.

I hope my friend likes her card. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers.

Foil Christmas snowflakes

 Hi all,

I have a new card to showcase today for the Tic Tac Toe challenge # 283.

I used the center line for my card.

It's not a great photo because of the shine. I used a Scrapbooking Made Simple's foiled die with silver foil on gold foil paper.  I wasn't sure it would work and was thrilled when it did. I then added red pearl gems to the centers of the snowflakes and added the sentiment from the Hunkydory big book of sentiments for Christmas. I fussy cut around the sentiment with a deep red that matched the border I placed behind the foil.
I have a few hours to work in my craft room today, so I hope to get more finished by the end of the day.
Cheers to you. Have a great day.
